The certification of plants bound for another state or country is usually a serious and complicated procedure. It calls for 100% compliance with the regulations of that specific region’s Agriculture Department. The majority of the nursery industry currently sell within their locale, preferring to avoid the routine inspections and stringent testing required by interstate and foreign certification processes.
However, Tornello Nurseries have been shipping live plants internationally (and, of course, domestically) for twenty years.
